WC2006: Italy, four times on the World’s roof

Long time since I wrote my last post here. Well, as the title says, WorldCup Germany 2006 is over, Italy won its 4th trophy defeating France in the Olympiastadium of Berlin – by the way, what a great building, definitely one of the best stadium I’ve ever seen in my life – after a total of 120 minuts intensely played on the field. At the final whistle the score was 1-1 (Zidane with a penalty brought his team ahead, then the italian defender Materazzi set right the match with a great head strike). Even though the history tells us that Italy lacks in penalties accuracy, the green-white-red team unbelievably put on the ball into the goal for all five times. On the contrary, France missed one shot with its attacker Trezeguet. Oh, a glitch: Zidane got owned lol. He ends his own career with a stupid act, a headbutt given to Materazzi directly broadcasted in the whole world which cost him the red card. The worst way to close a great career, indeed…

Btw, i have not been updating these pages frequently ’cause i’m getting addicted to a new game (for me!) called MapleStory, it has been taking my time so much! =x I play the middle-south-east Asia version which can be reached at www.maplesea.com. Sometimes it makes me pissed off during those damned jumping quests – -”, but afterall i have to admit that Maple r0x!

World Cup 2oo6

Italy won 2-0 against Ghana on Monday, in the first match of its tour in this qualifying group. The other two national teams which play in the same Group E are USA nd Czech Republic. The match USA-Czech Republic has been played the same day and the final score was 0-3. USA have been totally defeated. Italy played a nice game even if the match has been ruined by a disastrous arbitration. Honesly, I don't remember the referee's name or where he comes from, but definitely he arbitrated badly… In the end, the Italian scorers were Pirlo and Iaquinta. Here the list of actions happened during the match.

Changing topic, I modified the last post about Lost 2 'cos I made a mistake creating the emule collection for Lost 2 episodes. I forgot to insert the episode 2×20. Now it's ok. By the way, I already watched the whole second season… wow men, without doubts I can state that this series is better than the first. It's full of unexplained mysteries (just from the early episodes you can understand that there will be a third season) and dramatic turn of events. It really deserves.

I hate myself

Yes, I hate myself. I'm getting bigheaded, possessive, stuck, boring. I'm feeling a chore for others, specially for friends and people that i love. I'm feeling abandoned to myself but I know that this is not true, I'm the real problem, it's only my fault. And when you, my friend, try to socialize with me, I'm ready to take badly your words… I become possessive, right? I know you agree with this… By now, this is a huge problem for me. There are thousand of things that you don't know, I don't want to speak about them 'cos they are too heavy for both, me and you.
There is only a truth: I'm unable to solve my problems, unable to create my own happy life, unable to love people without becoming a possessive asshole. Definitely, I'm feeling the necessity of one help, the lack of a friendly real hand, the lack of true love. I'm writing this words for you, because I know you are disappointed by my attitude… right? Surely, you thought something like "I can't say anything to him, he always takes it in the wrong way."… and, unfortunately, this is the true… but you are right. I'm getting crazy…
Is it possible to love a person 10.000km far away? This is one of the main questions I'm thinking about in the last days. Is it possible or am I becoming idiot? What's that, love, strong friendship or anything similar? Perhaps, if I were a guy sorrounded by tens of friends and girls I would not be here writing piles of shit about myself and my stupid troubles. Don't you think?
There is a time for everything, I lost nice people for stupid things… but, truly, I don't want to lose you. Everytime you see my bad attitude, please tell me "Massi you are becoming stupid, calm down".
Nevertheless, I have to find my mental balance, 'cos this is not a life. There is nothing to add here… this blog will stay closed for a bit.

Illness

I have had the fever in these days, in particular in the last week. Fever, headache, cough and coldhead… sometimes I still feel it, notably during the nite. -_-
Nothing much to say, always my boring days here… I'm writing just to elapse my time before going to sleep zzz. Ohh, I received a package from Germany some days ago containing a new CrossFlow fan! It should work fine, not like the old one… it was so noisy. Now I have to wait for the second and last package, containing the lcd frontpanel. How long will be my wait? Who knows… =(

Remembering ancient times

Yesterday nite, me and my friends of primary school (year 1984) organized a meeting in front of our old schoolhouse, at about 8pm. We went at a pizza shop and later to a pub to drink a "Cuba pestato" (cuba with lemon, ice, coca cola and sugar) till 1.30am; not so many people there… monday is a dead day, many nightclubs are closed. Nevertheless, it was a nice nite. It's a strange feeling to see my first friends of my life after many years, they're so differents, almost unfamiliar… yep, not all. I still spend my saturday nites with some of them. (hm not always coz I'm quite lazy) Every one seems to have a good life, indeed one of them is just married and has a little son! (damn 21yo)

…definitely, these are the most deadening and monotonous days I’ve ever lived in my life. I tipped over my lifestyle… err… this is an euphemism, it’s better to say that I changed the standard lifestyle held by normal people. Yea, ‘cos I’m living the nite in lieu of the day… sometimes I don’t sleep for days, I stay awake for the entire daytime. As I said to a friend, 我 很 累 了! (ehy John damn you, don’t be lazy, read my blog, I’m still too noob to write it in chinese lols -_-;) Due to this situation, I’m so tired and bored… (and I think “wtf? I’m doing nothing day by day… how can it be possible?”, I can guarantee you all that this status is strenuous, it’s better to study, work or to do w/e you want)
I’m looking for a job, that’s why. But nobody seems to be concerned to give me a chance… the job area is dumb, like the services and communications industry. I’ve sent tens of curriculum vitae to any IT company located in my area without receiving any answer. I’m surveyor graduated but I don’t like that job, I just tried to work as surveyor practitioner about one year ago, making a short experience, but It’s not my ambition. I like the Information Technology sector, the comp is my hobby since I was a child, and I’m not the last idiot who wants to work inside it without any knowledge or know-how. There is a growing idea inside my mind: come back to the University. In the last times, I’m feeling the lack of study… also for this reason I decided to write my blog in english, ‘cos I become uncultured without any training. Anyway, there’s always a problem for anything… to study, okay, but what? I’m good in linguistic/history fields all along, could it be the rite way? I really don’t know…

Bad days… RMA times…

I risked my life this morning. -_-

Wednesday, I turned on my new system ‘cos I wanted to try it. It worked fine for about 30 minutes, the main hardware was ok (cpu, motherboard, graphic card, ram and power supply) in addition to system fans and optic devices. But my tough luck is bigger than me… and a few minutes later, I realized that the lcd Sharkoon BM didn’t keep in memory my custom settings after a reboot/shut down: the trouble was clear and distinct… lithium cell’s fault. I disassembled it this morning during the time that I was swearing (…), then I changed the lithium cell with a new one. Afterwards a fast re-installation, I tried it… at the same instant I pushed the power button, I saw a bright spark in the lcd bay attended by grey smoke and burn stench. Definitely gone. The lcd lights up but nothing appears on it. I risked to stay electrocuted ‘cos I was working on it during the “explosion” without any earth mass. When I touched the steel case, I felt the electricity.

But as I said, my bad luck is wide… Can that be enough? No, of course. The CoolerMaster CrossFlow Fan is motionless, it doesn’t work and I don’t know why. I tried anything once with it, tried and tried again, but there isn’t any way to make it runs.

And now? I’ve written to caseking.de about that problems. I have to send back these damaged products in RMA, the while… hoping for the best.
Damn, I was conceiving this machine since October 2005, and now I have to stay with idle hands, more or less. I’ll occupy that time burning my last backup CDs…

Another day has gone. This afternoon, for the first time, I turned on my new comp after one week of hard works; first and foremost, it’s really huge and very heavy… 584x227x536 mm for almost 30 Kg! (full and complete) It’s so cumbersome… At first sight, it looks nice with a clean style, but I can see the best side of this system only when I turn off all lights in my camera: there’re two lcd fan-controllers in front, the 3.5″ lcd LianLi TR-3B black and the 5.25″ lcd Sharkoon BayMaster black, with a a high beam led, blue colour, close to case’s roof. The LianLi lcd has a blue background, very smooth, whilst BM has a multi-colour lcd panel. The heat sink’s fan has blue leds too, nearly baby blue. I’ve met some difficulties during the assembly, for example the mess created by wires… I’ve chosen to cable them with black/white plastic wire-covers, the result is fairly nice. However I’m far from the definitive machine… OS/software installation will takes long time, as well I have to copy all my backup CDs/DVDs on HDs… zzz, so boring… I would like to take a picture of that system, but my d-cam definitely sucks.
